Long long time ago, there was a new mother looking for something soft and snuggly to her baby play with or to napping. Plus, the round baby mat was incredibly easy to clean which I loved. Being a busy parent, she loved anything that made her life easier. It was pretty easy to just stick the whole mat in a washing machine and it came out still soft, did not shrink accessible in a package of three or four.
